First, Principles

The interns call me, Tubelord.

I’m fine with Señor.

I’m a champion of rigorous work, and well fought technical battles. Convention can stuff it, first principles is where it’s at. Your skull is more than just a bulky deadblow hammer.

I admire the person that slams a spreadsheet until a wormhole opens up and swallows an entire machine shop with an overwhelming mass of well designed tooling.

I loathe the leader that stands by and watches, to swoop in at dawn and beat down the tired in the name of the company. Ignorance and ambivalence leads to the death of good technicians and engineers.

I aspire to lead from the front, forging a path for my compatriots and friends, learning as much as I can, helping choose the right path, and putting in hard work to make a great journey for everyone.
